Outdoor learning is fast, it's fun and it's transferable to the workplace. In short, in involves Leaders and Teams developing through action-centred learning. The effectiveness and strength of this process of learning is shown in the new attitudes, skills and behaviour that it develops. This experiential concept learning and its direct transferability to the work place plays a significant part in helping businesses to achieve their objectives and reach their company goals.

 


How we do it?
Using experiential methodology, we involve our participants in activities that challenge assumptions, stretch boundaries, highlight processes and redefine working relationships.

Why the Outdoors?
By its very nature, outdoor learning is experiential, i.e. learning by doing. Participants are able to practice teamwork and leadership skills and receiving continuous feedback from facilitators and peers.


A non-related work environment allows participants to become more aware of their behaviour and role-related attitudes. The learning curve is accelerated as people must plan and organise collectively, thinking outside the "circle" to accomplish tasks. As job skills and technical expertise are not required, outdoor learning is an excellent leveller of roles, placing everyone on common ground.

 

 


Trust is instilled as reliance on fellow team members is necessary to complete unfamiliar tasks. As the outdoors is fun and enjoyable, it encourages readiness to learn new ways.
